Slowing down now as he ages, was very quick but is just quick now.

Has the ability to cross the ball really well on his right foot. He can be very hit and miss though and is as prone to making a mess of it as he is to putting it into a good area.

Young does give his all but he often tackles like the lightweight winger he is. Or rather was.

He does have very good technique, but it seems to be affected by his age as well and is fading.

Weak in the air, lacking height and power to win headers.

Too rash to make a good tackle, even though he is fully capable of doing so. Everything about the way he plays is affected by his rashness.

Delph has really good technique, if only he could stay calm enough to make use of it.
