Had the ability to put that pass he spotted on a sixpence.

Was an excellent goalscorer.

Was a very good dribbler with quick feet.

Excellent technique and a lovely first touch.

When played slightly deeper, he showed he had good vision and awareness.

Was able to show his passing range when he did play deeper and it was truly top class.
