Like most modern day full-back, his defending leaves a lot to be desired, even if he does get back his positioning tends to be poor.

Has a tendency to overhit crosses, though he does produce a few goals when he does get it right. Needs to improve his consistency

Can be a bit weak in the challenge at times and his lack of positioning can leave him tackling from the wrong angle.

Good stamina, gets up and down the pitch well.

Lacking pace now as he ages, he has that look of a player who knows their legs are going.

Decent defensively, but nothing special any more. Again his legs are an issue as he can get caught upfield too often.

Decent enough delivery.

Can tackle, if he can catch his opponent in the first place!

Looks out on his feet after an hour these days.
