Excellent technique, amongst the best around technically.

Can pull off some fantastic passes at times, it is just that he does not do it enough.

Has the ability to score from almost anywhere, again it is a sad fact that he does not use it enough.

His movement is languid, lazy even. He has the physique to do so much more than he does, but he seems happy to just float through a game. And life in general.

Superlative skill, he is usually able to wriggle out of a tight situation using them. The problem is that he would rather do little bits of insignificant skills in the wrong areas than do what is best for the team.

Typical of the kind of players who come through at Bilbao, his technique is very good.

His passing is also very good, though he does lack the ability to spot and pull off the Hollywood style pass.

Not the player you look to if you need a goal, though he does score the odd goal or two.

Very good movement, clearly been well schooled in the Bilbao academy and knows how to pass and move.

More of a grafter than a flicks and tricks kind of player.
