He had incredible presence, he seemed to fill the goalmouth at times with his frame.

He was excellent on one-on-ones, very few players could get the better of him, most seemed to just bottle out when they saw it was him they faced.

He had excellent distribution with his throws, which were almost as good as a kick in terms of distance. However he was not quite as good with his feet.

Had a big frame but was agile enough to get to most things and his size and excellent positioning meant a lot of the shots would just hit him as he was in the right place.
