Very good in the air, though he can attempt to be too forceful and try to win a header he has no chance of getting to, at times.

His key asset is his tackling, it tends to be excellent. The worry is that he is called upon to use it too often because his positioning can be suspect at times.

Decent enough on the ball to get by. He is not really a ball-playing defender, but he is not going to just panic and boot it up field when given time and space.

Very strong, it aids his tackling as he can use his body to muscle a player into a position he can tackle the ball from them.

Quick, very quick. His recovery pace enables him to cope with most forwards.

Good in the air, well able to hold his own and win a large percentage of balls in the air.

A strong tackler, it is just his rashness that holds him back at times.

He was brought in because he is very good on the ball and capable of spotting and playing a pass.

Good strength, though the strongest forwards are capable of bullying him.
