Had such a great range of passing but tended to go for the 'Hollywood' pass a little too often.

Was a great tackler, the problem was that he would go to sleep in defensive situations and require a tackle in his own penalty box far too often.

One hell of a shot on him, but spent most of his career taking on the long shot when there was a better option. Luckily he had the ability to ensure a lot of them flew into the top corner.

By far and away the weakest part of his game. In open play he would often end up chasing the play defensively as he lacked awareness.

Had truly excellent movement off the ball which allowed him to usually be open to receive the ball.

One of the best passers of the ball in recent years, he had a great range of passes and the vision to see the right ball, as well as play it.

Certainly could tackle if he had wanted to, but he preferred to just kick people as he could get away with it.

You could see why he started out in the first team as a striker, he was always a danger in and around the box.

This was the aspect of his game that he improved over his career. By the time he retired it was excellent.

Very good movement, always looking to get himself into space to receive a ball.
